If the answer is yes to any of the above questions, why not take part in our Tenant Board Academy or become a member of our Board? We have Board seats specifically reserved for our tenants. This could be an opportunity for you to contribute, make decisions on matters that affect the lives of our customers and tenants.
Taking part in the Tenant Board Academy would also mean gaining a qualification whilst learning new skills.

We are running our ‘Preparing for the Board’ course –which builds skills and confidence.
Even if you are not interested in becoming our Board Member, this course will help develop many new skills that can be added to your CV and help you on your employment journey.
The programme consists of six half day sessions, leads to a level 2 Qualification and is:
- fun
- interesting
- stimulating
- builds skills and confidence.
Whilst on the course you would be observing the Board and one committee and completing a log/ assessment booklet.
What would qualify you to be part of the Academy Programme or to put your name forward to apply for a Board Member role?
The only requirement is that you’re one of our tenants or customers, with an interest in making a positive difference to the lives of our customers!
Board Member Opportunity
We are recruiting new members to join our Board, with one tenant seat available to be filled during 2021.
Should you be interested, attending this course would be an excellent foundation for you to develop your skills and knowledge to apply for our Board. You may already have vast experience in organisational governance and wish to apply directly for the Board position without attending the course, that would be OK too!
Exciting times ahead for us
Our goal is to provide affordable and reliable homes and services. Our Board is a crucial part of achieving these goals.
We have launched our goal to build 1350 new homes in the next five years, as well as decarbonise our homes and create a new
plan to shape the future of our business. We need a strong and reliable Board to do so, and we’re looking for one new board members to help us achieve this.
The pay level for this part-time opportunity is £4,000 a year (with an estimated time commitment of two days per month).
You will need to have an appreciation of the area we serve and will have empathy with our communities, culture, and Welsh language.
