Recruitment campaign goes mobile to the Eisteddfod Maes
Adra, North Wales’ largest housing association is setting its sights on the National Eisteddfod this August as it continues to promote jobs and apprenticeships and training opportunities with the organisation.
The HR team will be on hand on Thursday, August 10 and Friday, August 11 at Adra’s unit (next to Bangor University) to promote the different kinds of careers available at Adra.
They will also be promoting Academi Adra, which offers work experience, placements, apprenticeships, traineeships and volunteering opportunities. Set up in 2021, Adra and its partners are helping people into employment through bespoke training, which includes on the job experience.
Delyth Williams, Assistant Director – People’s Services said: “Adra already employs 360 people working in a wide range of jobs – from repairs and maintenance to finance, from IT to marketing and communications.
“We are very proud of our organisation and the people who work for us. It is a great place to work and with our intention to grow the business comes opportunities to work directly on the frontline, building and repairing properties, but also all the functions that provide support to the organisation.
