Our staff collecting food for a local food bank

In an encouraging display of community spirit, our staff have come together to collect food for a local food bank, providing much needed support to families in our communities.

Over the past month, our staff have been bringing in food items and toiletries to donate to a local food bank.

In addition, a financial donation towards the purchase of food was received from one of our contractors, Anglesey and Gwynedd Groundworks Ltd towards the cause.

The items collected were donated to the Coed Mawr Food Bank in Bangor, which is in the centre of one of our communities. This is a food bank that has seen a significant increase in demand for its services recently.

With the rising cost of living and the ongoing economic challenges, many families in our communities are struggling. The aim of the contribution from our staff is to alleviate some of this burden and give relief to those in need over the summer holidays.

If you are struggling financially and would like the support of a local food bank, please get in touch and we can help.

The food bank expressed its gratitude for the support, highlighting the importance of community partnerships in tackling food insecurity. The donations will go a long way to helping the food bank provide essential food and supplies to local families in need.
