Adra’s Christmas celebration in the Cathedral
Adra Housing Association is hosting its first ever carol service and is inviting people to kick-start their festive celebrations with them.
The charitable service will take place at Bangor Cathedral on Wednesday, 13 December at 6.30pm. There will be festive readings from members of Adra staff and Board, as well as musical performances from Gwasanaeth Cerdd Ysgolion Gwynedd a Môn, Adra’s own choir will be perform, as well as a performance from the Showzone Musical Group from Maesgeirchen, Bangor.
Rhys Parry, Adra’s Director of Resources, said: “We are delighted to be hosting our first ever carol service in the magnificent surroundings of Bangor Cathedral. With Christmas on the horizon, this will be a lovely way to get everyone together to join the festivities and get into the Christmas spirit. This is also an opportunity to showcase the talent of young people.
“There is free entry to the service but we will be making a collection towards our chosen charity for this year, the Renal Unit at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor, in memory of an Adra employee who passed away earlier this year.”
