Investing in our homes in Maes Padarn, Llanberis

We have started work on homes at Maes Padarn estate, Llanberis to improve the efficiency and quality of the homes. This investment plan includes 13 houses and five blocks of flats. 

We understand how important your homes are. We also understand how important it is that we continue to invest and spend on the houses we have as well as build new quality houses to meet the local housing need. 

 One way we address this is by carrying out external improvement work on the houses and carrying out work in different areas in Gwynedd, such as Llanberis. 

Keeping the pound local and contributing to the local economy is important to us. Therefore we work with local contractors who also give back to our community through our social value scheme and we are proud to have appointed W F Clayton as our main contractor on site. 

The work in Maes Padarn includes

• putting a new roof on the houses
• insulating and rendering external walls
• installing new windows
• installing new gutters
• improving paths and fences and more. 

It is significant work on the homes and completing work like this takes time. Investing money and time to do this work is one of our main priorities. With energy prices increasing and the cost of living so high we understand the pressure on everyone including our customers and therefore understand the importance of making your home as efficient as possible.
