    Board-Recruitment-Pack-2025

We are Adra, a leading north Wales housing provider with over 7,000 homes and providing services to over 16,000 local customers. Our goal is to provide high quality affordable and reliable homes and services, and continue to improve the wellbeing of our communities.

We are looking to recruit two Non-Executive Directors (Co-opted Members) to the Adra Board with the following skills / experience:

    • Legal and corporate governance; and separately
    • Decarbonisation and / or asset management

Further, a strong track record of stakeholder engagement would be beneficial.

Equality and diversity are central to everything we do, and we welcome applications from individuals from different backgrounds. For this recruitment, we would particularly encourage applications from women who are currently under-represented on the Board. We are also a disability confident employer and member of Tai Pawb.

The successful candidate must have an appreciation of the area we serve, and an empathy with our communities, culture, and the Welsh language.

Our meeting arrangements and times can be flexible and include a mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid formats. As this is a paid role, mileage is not claimable for travel to the office for the standard meetings, but Adra will re-imburse other reasonable costs in line with the relevant Policy. We would also consider any additional assistances to support Members, such as childcare or care costs.

If you’d like to have an informal discussion to know more about the role, then please get in touch with Aled Davies, Head of Governance, on 01248 677144 or 0300 123 8084.

To help shape the future of Adra, the information you need is in our Recruitment Pack

The closing date for applications is 5pm, Friday 7th February 2025.
