Promoting safety in your home
Did you know that this week is National Social Housing Safety & Compliance Week?
We’re supporting this year’s national campaign, called ‘Together for Safety’ which looks at the work being done in social housing to keep tenants safe in their homes.
Ian Roberts, our Head of Property Services (Revenue) said: “The safety of our tenants and their homes Is very important to us and awareness weeks like this is a great opportunity to highlight the work we do.
“We carry out safety checks on things like gas, electrical and fire safety and arrange appointments to carry out the work.
“It’s very important that we can access homes when we make appointments so that we can make sure that everything is in order and that you and your family are safe.
“If the appointment time is not convenient, we ask that you get in touch with us as soon as possible so that we can re-arrange a more convenient time”.
