Wynne Road Development Completed

Following their success in building two houses at Bro Pedr Fardd in Garndolbenmaen near Porthmadog, colleagues from the Trwsio workforce in Assets and Development have now successfully completed their second development on Wynne Road, Blaenau Ffestiniog.

The newly finished project, called Llygaid y Moelwyn, is a key milestone in our commitment to providing high-quality, affordable homes.

The development consists of five homes designed for local families, with three of the homes specially adapted to meet the specific needs of their occupants. The team has been supported by contractor Tom James Construction Services Ltd from Blaenau Ffestiniog.

The development also created a valuable learning opportunity for students from Ysgol y Moelwyn. Before completing the project, over twenty Year 11 students were invited to tour the site, gaining insight into the construction process and the variety of careers available in the industry.

The project received partial funding from the Welsh Government’s Social Housing Grant through Cyngor Gwynedd’s Affordable Housing Development Programme, helping to ensure that these new homes meet both the current and future housing needs of local residents.
